Für ein interessantes und anspruchsvolles Projekt bei Airbus Defence and Space GmbH in Manching suchen wir zum nächstmöglichen Zeitpunkt einen Aerodynamic Data Engineer (f/m/d).

Ihre Aufgaben

The jobholder (f/m/d) works as an Aerodynamic Data Engineer (f/m/d) and supports the teams „Wind Tunnel Tests“ and „Aerodynamic Analysis and SR&J”.  Within the ‚Aerodynamics Domain‘, the jobholder (f/m/d) supports the generation of aerodynamic raw data, and subsequent aerodynamic modelling (aerodynamic dataset) for handling qualities, loads and aircraft performance purposes.
Main activities:

• Definition of wind tunnel test requirements, test matrices, general support to test preparation
• Live data analysis during wind tunnel tests
• Post-test activities, data QA, documentation
• Detailed analysis of wind tunnel and flight test data
• Modelling of aerodynamic data for Stability & Control, Loads and Lift & Drag datasets, dataset tolerances definition
• Verification and Validation of aerodynamic database
• In-house tools improvement, design, verification and validation

Ihr Profil

Studium

• Ingenieurwesen oder Luft- und Raumfahrt : mindestens Diplom / Master

IT

• MS-Office : detaillierte Spezialkenntnisse
• Knowledge of Matlab/Simulink and/or Python and/or C/C++ is a must have

Sprachkenntnisse

• Deutsch : mindestens verhandlungssicher
• Englisch : mindestens verhandlungssicher

Berufserfahrung

• Experience in Wind Tunnel Testing, Aerodynamics, Flight Mechanics or Dataset Creation will be valued

Personal requirements

• Willingness to travel (one-time business trip for 5 weeks)
• A person which works autonomously and shall be able to analyse complex technical problems
• A flexible person which can adapt quickly to new situations
